While the award went to another wonderful Loudoun Nonprofit leader, Melissa and LSH were so honored to be recognized and nomiated by the Chamber of Commerce. We had a wonderful time at the awards ceremony dinner.

LSH is honored to be awarded a very generous $80,000 grant from Claude Moore Charitable Foundation for the launching of a Recovery Community Organization (RCO) in 2023!

We are honored and grateful to be one of 11 grantees of the $44,000 in grants to local nonprofits by the Loudoun Chamber Foundation
LSH HIRES FIRST TWO FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES! 2022
Made possible through grants from Loudoun County Mental Health Services and VARR, LSH hired their first two full-time employees - Ann Marie Maher and Nicole Cuccia! We feel so lucky to have them on the team and they have both brought energy, passion, fellowship and years of experience in the recovery community.
2022 RUN FOR RECOVERY HELD IN PERSON AT ALGONKIAN PARK! 5.2022
We had a lot of fun hosting the first in person Run for Recovery at Algonkian Park with over 60 local runners and 123 registrants (some who donated to support teams and many out of state supporters who formed teams and walked/ran in their local area. We have tons of photos from the event here! Hope to see everyone at the 2023 Run!
LOUDOUN SERENITY HOUSE OPENS MEN'S HOUSE IN LEESBURG 11.2021
Through commuity and partnership support, LSH held the exciting open of a Men's Recovery House in Leesburg which will house 6 men and one in-resident house manager in their own suite on the first floor.
MELISSA HINTON RECOGNIZED BY LOUDOUN 100 (LOUDOUN 100) 10.5.21
Loudoun100 started as a passion project to highlight some of the most influential people in Loudoun County. Now, our goal is to connect Loudoun through conversation and tell stories through our camera lens. This year, they selected Melissa as a 2021 Honoree!
LOUDOUN SERENITY HOUSE ACCREDITED BY VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF RECOVERY RESIDENCES (VARR Newletter) 9.13.21
VARR is Virginia's unified voice for Recovery Housing. Their mission is to set high levels of standards for quality recovery residences in Virginia and accredit residences that meet such rigorous criteria in order to support persons in recovery with information and access to recovery residences bound together by the core principles of standards, ethics, and unity. Loudoun Serenity House meets or exceeds these standards anc received certification in the Fall of 2021.
Give choose adds three local nonprofits (blue ridge leader & loudoun Today) 3.05.21
Give Choose is a 24-hour day of online giving organized by the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties to benefit local charities serving our community. Give Choose took place on March 16, 2021, beginning midnight and ending 11:59 p.m. Loudoun Serenity House is one of three local nonprofits added to the list of nonprofit organizations participating in 2021.
